As a regular on skater hockey pitches, you're bound to have met Daniele Guidi at some point. Always with a friendly word, he leaves a very positive mark on the team of Swiss referees.
At the age of 60, he has decided to call time on his career this season, and even though he will unfortunately not be able to take his whistle to the end of the 2023 season, the FSIH, through its head of refereeing Steve Nussbaumer, paid tribute to him on Saturday 9 September before the start of the Swiss Cup final.
This fine career came to a close with the start of the match immortalised in picture.
